Swim, Golf, Cruse, Publish a book!
We often challenge ourselves to the impossible!
Remember when you promised yourself that you will learn the rules of golf by age 30?
Or when you said you will learn how to count scores in tennis?
What is 6-Love?
What is a boogie in golf?
Or better yet, what constitutes a penalty in soccer?
Now, don’t get me wrong, like me, you are not a failure in life, career-wise, and possibly in marriage. You can probably mix and bake your own pie, cookie or even cake!!!
But, I bet you have not done all that you promised yourself as a teen.
Let’s go down the list:
You might have published your own book but you have not yet learnt how to dance when you finish writing a manuscript
You may have learnt how to swim but you are still afraid to fire a gun
You may be a marksman or better yet a marksperson, but you still cannot fix your own omelette with all the ingredients in front of you.
You might can drive cross-country but you still cannot fly a single engine plane, or fix your own car.
Correct me if I am wrong, but no one I have ever met (and I’ve met a few) has accomplished ALL the things they set out to do by age 50.
