In psychology 102 I remember learning something called Displaced Anger.
This is the Phinomenon whereby one thing makes us angry, but we take our anger out on something else, if not on someone else.
For example, our favorite team looses a game, and we take the anger out on our innocent television, by smashing it.
How about our significant other refuses to part take in love making because we honestly just forgot all about their famous DOB (date of birth).
Methinks, that displaced anger is gradually creeping into our nation's political acts and utterances, and this is not good for anyone.
