Some in the auto industry are opposing associating new cars that read a book to you

Some in the automobile industry are refusing to collaborate in developing the application that would be hooked to new cars that will prompt you to read a book, give you options and then read the book of your choice to you even as you drive every which way. :(
I am always blown away by new discoveries or "apps" - applications as they are commonly called now.
As an innovator, I admire developers and the applications that they produce nowadays.

I am therefore disappointed to hear that some in the automobile industry are resisting these applications that will prompt you to listen to a good book, even as you drive every which way.

Why do you think this is happening?
