FOR YOU MY LOVE....
|
You asked of me the moment
not the date, the time or place when I succumbed to inner feelings and your love I did embrace Was not the moment by a candle’s light with eye’s staring across its glare that instilled my want or passion or gave the feeling that you could care It wasn’t a night out on the town with dancing and a topless car with the wind caressing through my hair hand in hand while picking our favorite star No it wasn’t the day at the beach with us churning within the waves or the way that you gently dried me off while pretending to be my slave The day at a park of total seclusion laughing and rolling upon the grass did nothing to plant desires of love yet confirmed that you had class Not even the twilight and a stroll with the heavens set afire could deliver to you my everything my heart, my soul or desire Yet the moment finally came along in the moonlight I’d give my all I doubt you hardly noticed but in you I began to fall The breathing was fast and passion high as you stoked the fire to build my flame was the moment when we both converged as one and you whispered softly out my name. |

A Whisper, A Name by Shanti Lace
I love to write about reality. I write best when I am sitting in front of a large body of water with the waves pounding the coastline.
I have published 18 novels available at AuthorsDen.com/machermann
